When they knew you were from chinese medicine and the next question was "do you understand what I've just said". The hall looked at you like you dont speak English. So i just had to clarify I m from a English background and yes i m practicing chinese medicine with all the "poking".
Misunderstanding and Clarification.. Its somehow interesting. Liked how i always need to let people know that i m a chinese that dont look like a chinese or like i m a girl that dont sounds like a girl.
Perception.. Thats what we need to educate the people. Chinese medicine are not only for people who knows chinese and is also definitely does not mean that people who does chinese medicine speaks only Chinese. From an ordinary English educated background, trust me, we all somehow needs it. Is just currently, factual, statistics, explanation, education were not set to reach out the bigger public. And when they see a Chinese physician, patient-doctor relationship was not made, eventually they lose the confident of getting better. And trust me is a new society, Get to know your health and believe in yourself, there is always ways for improving life qualities.
thats my dream, I may not be skillful like others but i enjoy educate and let others understand their beings and understand their alternative and that's what people of today want. Remember why you started !
