Ipoh 090414 Day 1

round round ME !
It's been quite often that McD has became a random breakfast that came in mind when you have a crave of something simple !

It was an Ipoh Work-Play Trip.
More of some food paradise hunt !
The first stop at Ipoh's Oldest OldTown Coffee Shop

I like the environment somehow. A place for a chill of coffee with a newspaper.

Penang CharKoay Teow .. but quite disappointing as it was too oily .. not so nice !

The Signature : OLDTOWN White Coffeee.
Seriously it does tastes good.
The aroma and the smooth texture.

Not a white coffee lover as my body usually dont stays well with coffee, it made me palpitation.
But now for this :)

  Our morning authentic breakfast.

Caught with an interesting flat that looks somehow like prison ><
Fully caged.

Then it was work time !! It was pretty scary as there was like 300 plus students and there was like only 2 of us handling the crowd. But overall, it was not so bad you see. Everyone learns something =)
Selfie after work

Food again. Cause that's what Ipoh is popular with ~

Fried stuff all over .. the baskets :0

the texture of the fishball was good, no fishy smell, no powdery taste, it was just right !! XD

Curry Chee Cheong Fun
and from what I heard it was Ipoh that started the curry chee cheong fun that brought into KL.
Still, I prefer PENANG prawn paste chee cheong fun xD

So called 'Penang Asam Laksa'.
Compared to Penang, is still not so good.
But compared to KL, it is GOOD.

And so if you go to a trip with a bunch of girls, probably you don't expect much of eating.

So, it was time to take a break !!

Beautiful ?

New OLD TOWN.
Yeah~ it is the new old town that located in M Boutique. Nice place for some works.
Good services and good environment.

Time for some dinner ~~

Some girls are very particular with the place they hang out. And so we chose a pretty relaxing place for dinner. So there it is .. SECRET GARDEN ...

Ben & Lynette Maison Patisserie

 Ben & Lynette Menu
Ben & Lynette
A Sandwiches and Salads counter for your DIY ensemble for a lighter meal, and the relatively sparse counter (for a patisserie) displaying breads and various pastries

And so these are what we had ~
The Aglio Oglio, Carbonara and Grilled Chicken.
Overall, it was not the best but it was tasty and very filling.

So, it marks the end of Day One ~  Not much of food was explored but it was satisfying for a start !
